Dr. Julie Kenner, MD PhD

Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Kenner came to Monterey in 2015 from her flourishing practice in Hawaii. A research scientist with a background in pathology, Dr. Kenner enjoys problem solving and brings a unique approach to dermatology that focuses on prevention and compassionate care.

Dr. Kenner’s dedication for helping others was molded by years of living in dozens of culturally and economically diverse countries. From a young age, she observed medical challenges in the midst of imperfect circumstances — from her twin sisters’ emergency birth in West Africa, to her own near-fatal appendicitis as a child in Turkey. As an adult, Dr. Kenner carried out medical missions and research in Kenya, Uganda, Peru, Brazil, Mongolia and the Soloman islands as a physician and scientist.

Straight out of dermatology residency, Dr. Kenner was sent to Tripler Army Medical Center where, in addition to managing a huge caseload of patients within the hospital setting, she remotely treated the dermatology needs of military and DOD personnel stationed throughout the Pacific Rim, deftly navigating one of the world’s first tele-medicine platforms ever developed.

Dr. Kenner’s deeply nurturing nature has been a constant throughout her life. While in high school, she was driving with her younger sister when the weather changed and the roads turned icy. Losing control, the vehicle rolled twice. On their first turn, when the two were upside down and watching the windshield burst out of the vehicle, Dr. Kenner quickly hugged her sister to quell the panic, and confidently told her “everything will be okay”… and it was.

Lisa McCormick

Chief Operating Officer

Lisa comes to us with a Corporate Marketing and Operations background along with start up experience. She worked for over 5 years for Cisco Systems, which is one of the reasons why she moved from Connecticut to California.

Lisa is an accomplished golfer, competing for 8 years. She was the first female at her high school to make the Varsity Men's team and became captain, going on to play 4 years of NCAA Division 1 Women's Golf on scholarship at a college in Connecticut. The golfer in her couldn't help but move to Pacific Grove, California with only her little dog in 2012.

She left Cisco Systems in 2014 and started her own successful Digital Marketing Company. Lisa has helped over 200 clients ranging from Fortune 500 to SMB for over 10 years before coming on board with SkinHappy.

A results driven leader, Lisa focuses on demand generation with excellent written, content development and oral communication skills. She also has the ability to develop highly effective & measurable strategies to drive revenue growth, increase customer acquisition, and expand brand awareness. We are so happy to have her with us at SkinHappy!

Your friendly face at our dermatology office! With a background in hospitality, Iridian brings a warm and welcoming touch to your clinic experience. She enjoys holiday crafting and skincare, and is passionate about promoting healthy, radiant skin.

Vik is excited to join the SkinHappy team and has discovered a new passion to learn about skincare and health! She also enjoys exploring new destinations and cultures, discovering new music, and spending time with her dog.

Rachael Morgan

Web Editor

Rachael brings a background of technical writing and project management skills to assist the team with the website and other projects. She recently relocated to Maryland with her spouse, cats, and ball python, where she aspires to expand her business as a chocolatier and baker.
